No doctrine is the doctrine philosophy

Hinduism as a religion, due to its core philosophies is the most progressive religion of all time on this planet. With respect to the philosophies, the basic difference in Hinduism and other Abrahamic religions are the presence and absence of doctrine. In Hinduism, “no doctrine is the doctrine”. This is the core philosophy and if we go by advait and Vedanta, it clearly says that “life is an experience”, therefore to live your life you don’t need any doctrine unlike Abrahamic religions. In simple words, it says that you are free to live the way you want and this applies across the gender.

Hinduism with its philosophies, not only give humanity freedom to live the way they want but at the same time through its concepts of karma, practices like embracing women power, worshiping all forms of life on the earth etc. give humanity a perfect sustainable way of living life on planet earth.

In Hinduism, the philosophy of “no doctrine is the doctrine” can be experienced in our day-to-day life through our common practices in India. Through the lens of a common man, it means that in Hinduism, a Hindu can be shakahari, can be manshahari, can become yogi, can become shwetamber, can become Digambar, can become naga shadhu.  You can stay married; you can stay unmarried and many more forms of living life.

Hinduism with its basic philosophies acknowledges and embraces all forms of living life equally across the gender. That is why it is often get explained by saying that “Hinduism is not a religion, it’s a way of life”.

Now, the question is what happened to this great civilization and Hinduism as a religion? where are all those core philosophies and knowledge system gone? Why we don’t experience it now in our day-to-day practices? Why there is no match between what philosophy says and what we are practicing. In other words, how we have completely lost our knowledge system and have become misogynistic in approach? Well, let me answer this particular question right here. We have lost our knowledge system and become misogynistic in approach because this is what our foreign invaders for almost 2000 years taught us. They taught us according to their own religious philosophies and their fitment.

Induction of misogyny in Hinduism

Muslim invaders in India exactly did three things to induct misogyny in Hindus

  • First, they used their wisdom less power to create poverty
  • Then using their same wisdom less and ruthless power they did mass conversions
  • Ill-treated their women under sharia law which altogether led to the idea of competitive misogyny in India among Hindus

What is competitive misogyny?

In extreme vulnerable situations, when an act of misogyny done by one set of people as a symbol of women protection, power and control it automatically set even higher goal for another set of people to achieve the same in order to prove more power and control. Practices like sati paratha and Johor in India were an outcome of the competitive misogyny following the sharia law and burqa system in indoctrinated religion.

In those situations, under the influence of indoctrinated religion, in general, the idea of competitive misogyny served a unique purpose. At least it gave an equal footage to all men with respect to equality and for men that is important because that is their basic nature.

It also gave a false satisfaction of having power and something they can control in the name of safeguarding women. Again, the idea of safeguarding women also came from indoctrinated religion.

in Hinduism, women are the most powerful form and they are the one who fights with evil. If we go by this, then women don’t need protection, in Hinduism “they are the protectors”.

Destruction of gender ethos and internalized misogyny

The ground of competitive misogyny and destruction of educational institutions done by Muslim invaders in India gave unique opportunity to British invaders to keep their idea rolling and establish themselves in India.

To completely destroy the gender ethos, British used poor doctrine of indoctrinated religion against women to puncture the social set up and create chaos. In a very planned manner, they promoted sharia law among Muslims and competitive misogyny in Hindus in the name of balance and justice throughout.

Further, what happened after that with Hindu women in India is called internalized misogyny. That was the time when Hindu philosophy and day to day practices got tampered in real sense. The idea seeded by Muslim invaders and established by British in Hindus became deep rooted with due course of time and started working in day-to-day life of women. In other words, unfortunately Hinduism in their practices took the path of indoctrinated religions.

What is Internalized misogyny?

Women, after observing societal beliefs which demean the value and skills of women repeatedly, eventually internalize those misogynistic beliefs and apply them to themselves and other women. The common saying that ‘women is the enemy of women” is the one of the manifestations of the internalized misogyny.

That’s how there is now mismatch in real Hindu philosophy and day to day practices of Hinduism in India.

The common saying that “Hindu’s worship women and at the same time ill treat them” and that is Hinduism as a religion. Well for them, the answer is competitive misogyny seeded by Islamic invaders and well established by British invaders are the reason.

Now in current time, the idea seeded and established by our foreign invaders are now getting guarded by our own so-called social studies scholars. These social studies scholars are the direct outcome of the same seeded education system by British in India.

These scholars, as per the British plan till today only refer and acknowledge things which comes from the western world especially, with some designated universities only. In other words, on behalf of British, they are the biggest supporters and promoters of sharia law and competitive misogyny in India.

Destruction of Indian knowledge system

To completely destroy the knowledge system, in one hand British promoted the concept of madrasas for indoctrinated religion and on the other hand they established churches and missionaries for Hindus in the name of education and progress in India. By doing so, they made sure that the Indian education and knowledge system which was already going through the brunt of Muslim invaders should not see the light of the day.

Later in free India, the same idea of British education was get established in the name of National Education Policy (NEP, 1968). It was the first National education policy which was made following the legacy of British. The policy was made with the consultation of 19 out of 20 university from Europe and USA.

By that time, when this NEP had happened

  1. People in India had already forgotten their own knowledge system
  2. Hinduism had become the symbol of retrogressive society
  3. Churches and missionaries had become the symbol of progressiveness.
  4. Birth of so-called social studies scholars had already been taken place
  5. Those social studies scholars became the official guardian and representatives of our academic institutions and the way it should function.
  6. Last but not the least, the idea of progressive education and society seeded and established by British are still getting guarded by our own so-called social studies scholars in India.

Manusmriti manipulation and degradation of social ethos in India

From core of its philosophy, being closest to the mother nature, Hindu philosophy not only respects all forms of living life but also embraces all kinds of services human does to make this planet a better place to live. Nomenclature of jobs was the way of embracing all form of services to humanity and mother nature.

There was no caste system per se in India, the nomenclature of Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra basically represents the nature of the Job one use to choose. The Job nomenclature had also nothing to do with the family legacy and there was no boundation with the future generation to choose the same job. Everyone was free to choose the way they want to live their life.

To destroy the social ethos, British manipulated the manusmriti and establish all together a new form of caste system in India which was in their own interest. The matter of the fact is no one knows where is the original copy of mnausmriti? British themselves agree that, they are the one who saved manusmriti and translated into English (Sir William Jones, 1776). Interestingly, the manipulated caste system by British was influenced by their own racism system in Europe. The copies which are available across are the copies of manipulated manusmriti only.

Social studies scholars and their accountability

What British did to us at that point of time, our social studies scholars are still propagating the same. They have become instrumental in continuous degradation of gender ethos, caste system and knowledge system in India.

The knowledge system, British set through their missionaries and functionaries in the name of progressiveness and social development, the same system made sure that people who follow them the most become the elite of the Indian society and keep inspiring the young generation to follow the same path in order to become social elite. The same idea of social eliteness is being indoctrinated in our young generation through our education system since independence.

List of day to day actions of social studies scholars/Indian elites to maintain the eliteness in the society

  1. They follow and propagate the ideology of the western world/superpowers in the interest of getting acknowledged by them in order to maintain the social eliteness in the Indian Society. For their actions, they also often get rewarded in the form of easy publications, scholarships, fundings etc.
  2. Western world uses these social studies scholars as an instrument to fulfil their own agenda and ideology to keep themselves in the race of superpower.
  3. In day-to-day actions, western world uses these scholars to keep alive certain issues like caste, gender, religion as a tool to create and maintain the anarchy situation at the ground level. The recent case of NDTV journalist, Nidhi Razdan clearly proves the point. At least it clearly showed that what are the expectations of our social elites from the western world in exchange of what they do on ground on behalf of them.
  4. Time and again the strategy of western world/superpowers have not only been worked out well in developing/poor economies but it also got exposed several times. The idea of Taliban and recent rise of Taliban in Afghanistan is an example of the same.

Nevertheless, whatever these social studies scholars do with their brainwashed mind set the cost is always get paid by the innocent people in the name of caste, religion and gender violence.
